At the „House on the outside” we take our pride in using fresh and local ingredients in our kitchen. Both meat and fish dishes are served here. The winter cod “skrei” swims directly at our doorsteps and in the autumn mushrooms, berries from the mountains are taken in to our kitchen for delicious dishes. Local farmers and hunters deliver tasty meat like lamb, moos or reindeer. It is not far from the sea, mountains or fields to the plates out at Yttersiden.
Enjoy tasty food at our sea side restaurant and enjoy a spectacular view to the harbour, fjord and mountains in a welcoming and cosy north Norwegian atmosphere. The restaurant serves a la carte menu with local specialities with proudness! You will find lamb, whale, different sorts of fish dishes as well as lunch dishes and cakes on the menu. Try our popular fish soup with home baked bread or blueberry cake – you will love it.
The restaurant is open every day during June, July and august. As well as open for table reservations or for guesthouse guests all year.
